Shopping

Admittedly, nothing beats the variety and volume of shopping malls and shops available in Barcelona. Also, La Roca Village - one of Europes largest Outlet Malls - is not strictly located in the Maresme Region. However, it is only a very short drive from just about any of the coastal towns of the Maresme (from Cabrera it takes 15 minutes).

Bike Maresme Enchanted Forrest Orrius.jpeg

The Enchanted Forrest

Near the town of Òrrius you can find one of the most unusual places, known as the enchanted forrest of Òrrius. As you follow the forrest trail (accessible by car (or bike) you will come upon a world of goblins, monsters and covens carved in rock. Some resemble the famous heads of the Easter Islands, but there are also other shapes, like a giant Elephant.
